Layout tokens display information related to the layout, e.g., the number of pages on the layout or the date the layout was created.
To insert Layout tokens directly into a Text Box:
1. | Right-click on the Text Box. |
2. | Select Insert Token from the pop-up menu. |
3. | Select the desired Layout token. |
4. | Click the Insert button. |
To edit the text format or display properties, right-click on the Layout token and select Format Token or one of the Display Text options from the pop-up menu. Or, double-click the Layout token to access the Edit dialog.

The overall number of pages in the current layout. |
Current Page Number |
The page number of the layout page currently in use for the token. |
Last Saved Time |
The time at which the layout was last saved. |
Last Saved Date |
The date on which the layout was last saved. |
Created Time |
The time at which the layout was created. |
Created Date |
The date on which the layout was created. |
Number of Files in the File List |
The total current number of data files in the Data List. |
Current Print ID |
Identification number used for the print job. |
Print Date and Time |
The date and time when the layout was last printed. |
File Name |
The file name of the current layout. |
File Path |
The file path specific for the current layout. |
Current FCS File Path |
The file pathway for the file which was last used in the layout. |
Current User |
The user name of who is currently logged into FCS Express. |
Current Page Name |
The name of the page that is currently being viewed. |
Current User Security Groups |
For users of the Security option, this token displays the name of the security group to which the user belongs. |
Last Saved Program Version |
The last version number of FCS Express used when saving the layout. |
Last Saved Layout Version |
The last layout version number used when saving the layout. |
Last Loaded Channel Calibration File |
The last file that was used when performing Channel Calibration. |
