Exporting a Layout as a PowerPoint® Presentation

A layout can be directly exported as a Microsoft PowerPoint® presentation. The resulting PowerPoint presentation will appear exactly as it looked in FCS Express, i.e., a five-page layout in FCS Express will become a five-slide layout in PowerPoint. All plots and text boxes are inserted into the PowerPoint presentation as Windows Metafiles and can be moved, resized, and manipulated within PowerPoint.

To save as a PowerPoint presentation, select the File tab→Export→Export as PowerPoint Presentation....

A dialog box will appear that will allow you to:

Name the presentation.

Decide whether or not to include the background (from Master Slide).

Choose to open the presentation after saving by launching PowerPoint.

Hide objects that are off the page (i.e., only export objects on the printable area).

Append to an existing PowerPoint presentation.

Choose which layout pages you wish to export.

If you choose to export the background, the objects on the FCS Express Master Page will be placed on the PowerPoint master slide. These background objects will then appear on all of the PowerPoint slides.
