Gates can be saved and loaded so that gates created in one layout can be imported into another layout. All information pertaining to the gates is saved, including the gating hierarchy. To save gates, select the Gating→Gates→Save, and to load the saved gates in another layout, select Gating→Gates→Load commands (Figure 9.11).
