FCS Express has a comprehensive security system that allows you to restrict access to various functions to particular users via the security add-on for network licenses or via internet dongle licenses and site licenses. Security systems are used for Internet Dongle and Site licenses to administrate users.   Network Licenses can use the security add-on for helping to ensure the integrity of your data analysis and to conform with certain government regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11. FCS Express offers multiple layers of security, described in the remaining sections of this chapter.

 

Security settings such as password limits, mail notifications and online registration (internet dongle and site licenses) are maintained through the Security Configuration dialog.

 

With any license in which security is enabled reports may be generated, viewed and saved.

 

Additionally, LDAP and Single Sign-on can be configured for licenses with security enabled.
