The DNA Background category (Figure 5.5) contains options which control how Multicycle calculates the background (in order to remove debris from the sample and calculate an accurate fit).

 

Defer changes allows you to make changes to the DNA Background options without applying the change immediately. If checked, click Apply to apply your changes, or Cancel to cancel applying any changes you have made.

 

 

 

 

The Use Background Fit check box controls whether or not Multicycle will attempt to calculate a background and remove it from the fit data.
