In addition to the formatting options common to all Objects, and those common to all Plots, 1D Plots have certain properties, which can be formatted:
•Overlays are defined in FCS Express as a data set that is displayed on a plot. A 1D Plot must contain one or more overlays.
•Markers (not available for Spectrum plots and Kinetics plots).
•Specific options include normalization, plot resolution, presentation choices for multiple overlays, and the choice of a control histogram for histogram subtraction statistics.
You can always format a plot by:
•right-clicking on it (or double-clicking on a plot that is already selected), selecting Format from the pop-up menu, and choosing a category to format. This method will allow you to use the Preview and the Restore buttons to see what the changes would look like without actually accepting the changes
•select the plot and choose the desired category from the Format tab of the Ribbon. Formatting from the ribbon will open a formatting options dialog in a dockable window that will apply changes as they are made.
