FCS Express allows users of spectral cytometers to perform Spectral Unmixing from single-stained controls. There are two ways to create an unmixing definition in FCS Express:

 

•The Automatic method allows you to take single stained controls and automatically calculate the appropriate endmembers of the unmixing definition.

•The Import method allows you to import an unmixing table or single endmembers previously created in FCS Express.

 

FCS Express allows you to quickly and easily setup either method. In the following example, we will be creating an unmixing definition from single-stained controls.
