Creating A Tokens Report

A report of all Tokens can be created and exported in order to document the statistics and formulas that are used in the layout.  Information will be exported in table format with the following information included:

Token Name - this may be a generic name such as "Statistic" or the full name of the Custom Token.

Token Details - the information regarding the statistic, keyword, or custom token formula that is used.

Page Number - the page of the layout where the token is located.

Source Description - the object ID of the text box/spreadsheet/plot where the Token is located.

 

There are 3 different options for report types that can be created:

Export to PDF

Export to TXT

Export to Excel

 

NOTE: Only tokens inside a text box or spreadsheet will appear in the tokens report.

 

 

To create the report (Fig. 12.81):

1.Go to Tools -> Reports -> Tokens

2.Check any tokens that should be added to the report. To select or deselect all tokens in the list, check the box next to "Token Name".

3.Check whether you want the report to automatically open after it is saved.

4.Choose the type of document to export the data. Once you click on a specific document type, a window will open to allow you to save the document. Click Save.

5.Click Close to close the Create Tokens Report dialog.
