The FCS Express User Options Quadrants category lets the user select the default FCS Express User Options for behavior when inserting quadrants.

Option 

Explanation

Line Color

The color that the quadrant lines will be drawn in.

Line width

The thickness that the quadrant lines will be drawn in.

When inserting quadrants, automatically create text boxes

If this box is checked, one text box will be created in each corner of the plot when quadrants are inserted.

Statistic to Display

This option determines which statistic appears in a text box in all four quadrants when the quadrants are first inserted.

Number of decimals to use

The number of decimal places to display in the quadrant text boxes.

Floating (allow angles other than 90 degrees)

If this box is checked, when quadrants are added to a plot, they will be the floating type.

When new quadrants are created, created them hierarchically

If this box is checked, the option to create quadrants hierarchically in the Create New Quadrants dialog will be selected by default.

Display quadrant sets and quad gates in newly opened Gate Views and Gate Navigators

By selecting this option, Quadrant Sets and Quadrant Gates will be visible in newly opened Gate Views and Gate Navigators.

Update quadrant parameters when the plot parameters change

If this option is not selected, quadrants will be associated with the parameters they were created on, exactly like conventional gates. i.e. when different parameters are displayed on the plot, the quadrants will no longer be visible.

If this option is selected, quadrants will be automatically recreated when the parameters on the plot axes change. Quadrant Set and Quadrant Gate names will automatically update accordingly, unless any of their names had been previously customized.

 

Quadrants Creation Prompt Options

If quadrants are selected when quadrants are added to the same plot, determine if the prompt window is shown and if the default action is to create new quadrants or replace the selected quadrants.

If quadrants are not selected when quadrants are added to a plot, determine if the prompt window is shown, or if the default action is to create new quadrants.

Show properties list expanded by default in the prompt window

If this box is checked, when the Create New Quadrants window opens, the Quadrants Properties list will be expanded by default.
