Compensation/Unmixing Tokens

Compensation tokens allow you to insert information pertaining to the current compensation settings. You can choose different source and target parameters and display either the crossover or spillover matrix values (Figure 12.36). See Compensation and Spectral Unmixing for more information.

Gate Token

Definition

Spillover Matrix Value

Represents the percentage of the signal from a given channel that spills into adjacent channels.

Compensation Matrix Value

Represents the inverse of the spillover matrix. Used to correct spillover.

Unmixing Matrix Value

Represents the estimate the contribution of each spectrum to the full spectra

Spillover Spreading Matrix Value

Represents fluorescence spectrum interactions that can limit the sensitivity of a reagent in the presence of brightly-stained cells on a different color. See Spillover Spreading Martrix

Cross Stain Index Matrix Value

Represent the spread of a given fluorochrome into another dye. See Cross Stain Index Matrix

The following properties can be edited for Compensation/Unmixing tokens, by right-clicking on the token:

Display Text - defines if the token should display the Token Value (default), Token Description, or a user-defined Text.

Font - changes the font depending on the value of the token based on a list of classifications

Number Format - allows users to select the number of decimals to be displayed, the Rounding mode and whether or not to show trailing zeroes if the value is numeric.
