To duplicate an object:

1.Select the object as described previously.

2.Select the Home tab→Clipboard→Duplicate command or press Ctrl+D. The new object will appear offset slightly lower and to the right of the original object (Figure T1.7).  The default position of the duplicated object may be customized in user options.
