Formatting Options Shared by All 2D Plots

In addition to the formatting options common to all objects, and those common to all plots, 2D plots have certain properties which can be formatted:

Overlays

Gates to display

Color levels for density and contour plots

Specific options

Each 2D plot type has additional options which may be formatted:

Dot Plot and Color Dot Plot (Overlays)

Density plots and Contour Plots (Overlays and Color Levels)

Surface plots (Overlays)

You can always format a plot by:

Right-clicking on it (or double-clicking on a plot that is already selected), selecting Format from the pop-up menu, and choosing a category to format. This method will allow you to use the Preview and the Restore buttons to see what the changes would look like without actually accepting the changes

Select the plot(s) and choose the desired category from the Format tab of the Ribbon. Formatting from the ribbon will open a formatting options dialog in a dockable window that will apply changes as they are made.
