Data is loaded into FCS Express using the Data List (figure below). Data files may be simply dragged and dropped into the data list and then accessed directly in FCS Express for analyzing data in plots. Additionally, if data files are inserted in the layout by directly inserting a plot, the data list will populate with the data file that was inserted and all other files that are located in the same folder as the inserted file.

 

Data files in the data list may be moved up and down the list to manually order the data files.

Keywords can also be added as additional columns to assist in grouping and sorting your data files (see the Sorting ion the Data List chapter).

 

Note: If changes are made to the data files, keywords, or data loading preferences, the data stored in the memory cache may be refreshed and reloaded using the Refresh icon on the Data tab.
