Exporting Definitions

 

All compensation/unmixing definitions are automatically saved with the layout file when the layout is saved. The Automatic Compensation Setup and the Automatic Unmixing Setup are also saved with each compensation/unmixing definition.

 

To save an individual compensation/unmixing definition (i.e. *.compensation or *.unmixing file), open the Compensation and Unmixing window, select the definition of interest by clicking on it, and click the Export the selected compensation/unmixing icon .

 

 

 

Importing Definitions

 

The compensation/unmixing definitions that were saved with the layout are automatically loaded when the layout is loaded. You may also choose to open a saved compensation (*.compensation) and unmixing (*.unmixing) file by choosing the Import a transformation from a file command, then navigating to the compensation/unmixing file, and selecting it to be opened.  You may also choose to import a compensation matrix exported from FlowJo in the .csv format by the same procedure;  be sure to choose "Compensation" as the option in the dropdown menu.
