In FCS Express, data can be displayed in Bar, Pie, or Scatter Charts that update in real-time as you advance through your dataset or adjust your gates. This eliminates intermediate steps in your workflow such as creating tables, exporting and reassembling data in a spreadsheet, and manually generating new graphs to evaluate additional data or a change in your gating positions or hierarchy. Bar, Pie, and Scatter Charts can be formatted and exported to PowerPoint and PDF as with any other plot type in FCS Express, so you can summarize your results and generate publication-quality graphics in record time.
In the course of this tutorial, you will learn how to:
•Plot your data in a Bar, Pie, or Scatter Chart
•Create tokens for use in Bar, Pie, or Scatter Charts
•Manually enter values for Bar, Pie, or Scatter Charts
•Use tokens for creating error bars on your plots
•Create conditional formulas to emphasize interesting data sets
•Display additional datasets (as Overlays on Bar and Scatter Charts or a Ring on Pie Charts)
•Format the appearance of Bar, Pie, and Scatter Charts
Please see the table below for an overview of the options for working with each plot type.
