To create a gate on a Data Grid, right-click on the grid and select Create Gate from the pop-up menu. A new column will appear in the grid (Figure 5.184).

 

 

 

 

Check the events in the New Gate column that you want to include in your gate (so-called "Cell Number gates") and click OK to bring up a Create New Gate dialog where you can assign a name to the gate and choose the color.

 

You can also create a gate containing a Selection or Range using the appropriate drop-menu items.
